Meet the Executive Board
Founder: Jenny Chen
Jenny is a senior at Westview High School and is the founder and president of Music Outreach Club. She is very passionate about music and strives to help young musicians pursue music as a hobby or a future career. Jenny has played violin for 8 years and has earned numerous awards in many violin competitions (SYMF, MTAC Concerto Competition, VOCE Instrumental) in San Diego and Los Angeles. In addition to her passion for educating younger audiences in the field of music, she enjoys performing and is planning benefit concerts aimed at supporting music education for underprivileged children. She helped organize the concert for "A Night of Hope" with Coffee 4 Kids Honduras, a benefit concert helping hospitalized children in Hondruas. She has studied violin with well-recognized teachers and has attended master classes of world renowned pedagogues such as Martin Chalifour (Principal Concertmaster of LA Phil) and David Chan (Concertmaster of Met Opera Orchestra).

President: Haeli Baek
Haeli is a junior and the current treasurer. She has been participating in the school music programs since the fifth grade. Music has always been a huge part of her life, and she has played various instruments such as the piano, violin, and flute. Currently she is devoted to flute and is a part of the New Youth Orchestra as the principal flute player. Because of her passion for music, she loves teaching kids and enjoys setting a good example for the next generation of musicians. Haeli hopes that students will take advantage of this heart-to-heart mentoring program so that they may grow and mature musically.
